Why choosing Hôtel d’Angleterre

Hôtel d’Angleterre is a human sized establishment where we strive to provide you with a warm atmosphere and a comfortable stay.

We offer many extra services: sitting area with flat-screen TV where a bar service is available, laundry service, in-room breakfast and dinner, fax/mail services at the reception etc.

In your rooms you will find quality products and an information booklet specially design by our team to answer your questions about the hotel.

Sewing kit, matches, dental kit are available at our reception desk.

For your entire stay, you will find someone to answer your questions, the reception works closely with the tourist information of Grenoble to be informed of all the events in Grenoble and surroundings.

We also put in place several partnerships with different businesses of Grenoble which will grant you discounts as a Hôtel d’Angleterre guest:

  • La bastille cable-car which gives you an amazing view on Grenoble and the surrounding mountains
  • The restaurant “Le Petit Montorge”
  • The restaurant «  La Girole »
  • The beauty salon “La garçonnerie”
  • The sports club “Univers Physique”

How to book a room?

The reception is open 24/24; one of our team members is always available to answer by phone, email or fax.

What if I have special requests?

Do you need an extra bed, a baby cot, a double bed?

Would you prefer a room under the roof, a balcony, a bathroom with separate toilets?

Do you travel with your pet?

All you need to do is to contact our reception by phone, email or fax and our team will do its utmost to accommodate your requests.

What do you do for my children?

At Hotel d’Angleterre, childen under 12 are welcomed in the parents’ room at no extra cost in the bedding available.

We also offer a free breakfast for the children under 7 years old and at the discounted rate of 7 € between 7 and 12 years old.

Baby cot, high chair, booster seat, changing mat are available on demand at the time of booking.

How to cancel my room?

If you booked our “flexible” rate, you only need to let us know by phone and/or in writing via email or fax. Cancellation is free of charge up to 12 noon on the day of arrival. After that time, the first night will be billed.

 

If you booked a pre-paid rate, this is non-cancellable, non-refundable as indicated during your booking.

 

If you have booked through an agency, please contact them directly.

The hotel is in the town center, where do I park my car?

We are working in partnership with the Philippeville car park with which you can take advantage of a special discount on the night (from 17h till 10h) at only 3€.

Before or after the time indicated, normal parking rate apply.

The maximum height is of 1m80. For higher vehicle, please contact Grenoble museum (max height 2m40) at (+33) 4 76 54 72 14.
