3 star Hotel in Grenoble : free WIFI, air conditioning, parking

The Hotel d'Angleterre, located in the city center, in the same time in the historical heart and close to the train station and public transport, is an ideal point of departure to fully en joy your stay in Grenoble, as you are here for business or holydays. It is open all the year 24h/24, 7D/7.

Worried to improve your comfort, Ms and Mrs SARRASI, the new owners since the beginings of august, are doing their best with the team of the hotel of Angleterre to realise all the modifications and improves needed to satisfy you entirely.

In this Haussmann listed building, 60 cosy rooms, with an unusual rattan furniture is axpecting you, all the rooms are soundproof and provide air-conditionning and free WIFI access for all our guest. Each room is equiped with an en-suite-bath-room, a hair-drier, a safety box, a minibar, a welcoming trail, a phone, an alarm clock, a flat screen TV with a DVD recorder and 29 of them features a bath tub with hydro-massage. Certain rooms offer a magnificient view on the beautiful Place Victor Hugo with this flowers and traas and for most a balcony to admire the Vercors abutment. The other have the charm of the overlooking framework.

Breakfast, hot and cold buffet at will, is served from 6h30 to 10h at the restaurant and until 11h in your room. You can drop off your luggage or leave your laundry at the reception for th laundry service. In the lobby in front of the reception, several news papers are at your disposal, and you can also take a break enjoying a delightfull beverage.

To make your stay easier, we have found several partnerships. So, if you go park your car at the underground car park of Philippeville at 200m of the hotel you will pay only 3 € instaed of 12 €. If you want to eat in your room, the room service diner is possible thanks to the restaurant "Via Aurélia". If you prefere to enjoy the evening by a walk in the city, the restaurant "Le Dix Vins", near the car park Philippeville, welcomes you by offering the apetizer.

At two steps of the hotel, museums, movies, theater and concerts offer a large choice of programme. The lively city center, with plenty of restaurant, bars, shops and green spaces, justify itself the purpose of a walk. If it is the nature whiwh attracts you, many activities can be seleected : ski, golf, rowing, rafting, canyoning, bungee jumping, etc. In front of the hotel stop the bus to go to the ski resort and the walking start. One of the most popular attraction is the Téléphérique de Grenoble, a cable car very close ; from the top of La Bastille a breathtaking view on Grenoble, its surronding and the montagnes, that is why we provide you a discount on the ticket.
